Dr. Amol C. Goje is a President of Society of Data Science and  Currently working as a system, process and technology consultant for Banking and Retail Industry since 5 years Prior to that he served as a Director, Vidya Pratishthan’s Institute of Information Technology (VIIT), Baramati, Pune for 20 Years. He has a total of over Thirty Five years of experience in the field of Information and Computer Technology (ICT). He has developed many systems for the University. Dr. Amol’s main area of interest is to work for underprivileged people in the rural part of India. He has designed and implemented numerous path-breaking, innovative and cost effective solutions. Some solutions to name a few are – number of computer labs, which are economically sustainable to the rural schools and colleges. Dr. Amols’s main innovation is Computer Mobile Van. He has done lot of research work in Information Technology and its application for rural community. In appreciation to his exemplary work, Dr. Amol has received the Ashoka Fellow award in the year 2002. He is engaged as a Technical advisor on many government and non-government organizations. In his tenure as the Director at VIIT, he has organized 8 international conferences in Baramati under the aegis of Baramati Initiatives and as a President of S4DS this is his eighth International conference. Dr. Goje has received the Marathwada Bhushan Award for spreading the IT education to the masses. He is the member of the Working group on Agricultural Extension Constituted by Planning Commission government of India. He is key player in setting up the Community Training and Learning Centers (CTLC) in Maharashtra. In this project, VIIT is providing Computer Training to the women from the Self Help groups (SHG). Dr. Goje has received the Manthan (AIF) award successively for two years in Year 2005 and 2006.Governemt of Maharashtra “Maharashtra IT award (IT HRD) in 2008. He is also the President of Community Radio Association (CRA) of India. Recently he has been bestowed with the honor of ‘Best Director’ of Pune University -2016-17.

Dr. Neha Sharma is serving as Professor at Vidya Pratishthan’s Institute of Information Technology (VIIT, Baramati), Pune and Secretary of Society for Data Science, India. Prior to this she has worked as Director, Zeal Institute of Business Administration, Computer Application & Research, Pune, Maharashtra, India, as Dy. Director, Padmashree Dr. D.Y.Patil Institute of Master of Computer Applications, Akurdi, Pune and as Professor at IICMR, Pune. She is an alumnus of a premier College of Engineering affiliated to Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneshwar. Neha Sharma has completed her PhD from prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad. She is a Website and Newsletter Chair of IEEE Pune Section and served as Student Activity Committee Chair for IEEE Pune Section as well. She is an astute academician and has organized several national and international conferences and seminars. She has published several papers in reputed indexed journals, both national as well as international. She is a well known figure among the IT circle of Pune, and well sought over for her sound knowledge and professional skills. Neha Sharma has been instrumental in integrating teaching with the current needs of the Industry and steering the college to the present stature. Not only loved by her students, who currently are employed in reputed firms; for her passion to mingle freely with every one, Neha Sharma enjoys the support of her colleagues as well. She is the recipient of “Best PhD Thesis Award” and “Best Paper Presenter at International Conference Award” at National Level by Computer Society of India. Her area of interest includes Data Mining, Database Design, Analysis and Design, Artificial intelligence, Big data and Cloud Computing.

Prof.(Dr.)Amlan Chakrabarti is serving as Director and Professor of A.K. Choudhury School of Information Technology, Kolkata, India. He was a Post-Doctoral fellow at the Princeton University, USA during 2011-2012. He has almost 20 years of experience in Engineering Education and Research. He is the recipient of prestigious DST BOYSCAST fellowship award in Engg. Science (2011), JSPS Invitation Research Award (2016), Erasmus Mundus Leaders Award from EU (2017), Hamied Visiting Professorship from University of Cambridge (2018). He is an Associate Ed. of Elsevier Journal of Computers and Electrical Engg. and Guest Ed. of Springer nature Journal in Applied Sciences. He is a Senior. Member of IEEE and ACM, IEEE Comp. Society Distinguished Visitor, Distinguished Speaker of ACM, Secretary of IEEE CEDA India Chapter and Vice President of Data Science Society. His research interests are Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Quantum Computing. He serves as an editor and hold distinguished positions in IEEE and ACM.

Dr. Saptarsi Goswami is serving as Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, Bangabasi Morning College, University of Calcutta. He has 22 + years of experience in Industry and Academics. He is a B.E in Electronics and Communication from National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. Has a diploma in business finance ( Gold Medalist) from ICFAI. He has done his M.Tech ( 2nd Rank) from University of Calcutta and Ph.D also from the same university. He has worked in It Industry for 10+ years in companies like Tata Infotech Ltd, PwC and Cognizant Technology Solution. Currently, he works as an Assistant Professor and Head in Bangabasi Morning College (University of Calcutta). He has served as a visiting scientist in Iwate Prefectural University Japan. He is a founding member of the Data Science Lab in University of Calcutta and works a lead researcher and research supervisor as well as a visiting faculty in A.K.Choudury School of IT, University of Calcutta. He has an H-Index of 19 and Citation of 1700+ as per Google Scholar.

He has played a role in community development by playing lead of ODSC Community and Azure Community Kolkata and is also an executive member of Society for Data Science (S4DS). He has served as organizing chair for many editions of ICDMAI. His youtube lectures on Machine Learning are part of National Digital Library India (NDLi). He has also served as an Advisor for many programs of Higher Education Department, Government of West Bengal. He has published couple of Text books on “Deep Learning” and “AI for Everyone” from Pearson India.

Prof.(Dr.) Yumnam Jayanta Singh is  Executive Director, National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India, Guwahati. Prof.(Dr.) Yumnam Jayanta Singh who received the Ph.D degree in Computer Science from Dr. B.A.Marathwada University, Maharashtra (2004), is currently serving as the Executive Director, National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India, Guwahati. Earlier to this, he has worked with several Universities, such as Don Bosco University, India; Swinburne University of Technology, Malaysia; Misurata University and Skyline University (UAE). He had worked with MNCs such as NTT Data and TechMahindra. Prof. Yumnam Jayanta Singh is a member of the Data Science Society, IASTED, EUROSIS, IETE, IEEE, etc. His research interests include cloud computing, data warehouse and mining, blockchain, distributed database management systems, digital image processing, and software engineering and testing. Prof. Yumnam Jayanta Singh has published several research papers in international, national journals, and conferences. He has produced many Ph.D students, MTech students in area of Data Warehouse and Mining; Cloud computing, Data Science and Digital Image Processing. He is one of the founder editors of ADBU-AJET. He has executed several projects of national importance and was in the team developing the Strategy Plan of Govt. of India and State Govt., such as whitepaper on Blockchain and IT park policies.

Dr. Prithwis De is a Data, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) expert with over 24 years of experience and a Sustainability Evangelist. He is currently working with Tata Consultancy Services. Dr Prithwis is a member of the American Statistical Association (PStat®), USA. He is a distinguished speaker and has published several papers in professional and refereed journals, books and newspapers. With a passion for sustainability, Prithwis enjoys working on a wide range of topics related to ESG, Climate Change, business, technology and AI to address the rapidly emerging needs in this space. Professor Da’Silva is the Vice-Principal of Arts and Science at St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata. After graduating from St. Xavier’s College he went on to complete his M.A. in English from Calcutta University. Immediately upon completion of his M.A., he joined St. Xavier’s College. Having specialized in American Literature, he was invited to teach as a Guest Lecturer at Calcutta University where he took courses in American Fiction for a number of years. Prof. da Silva has chaired and moderated seminars on English and American Literature. Presently he offers courses in Poetry Appreciation and analysis, Shakespearean drama, and Romantic and Modern Poetry. His courses are designed to stimulate students’ interest by teaching them how to read, think, and be creative and original in their appreciation of works of literature. His courses range beyond literature and take the student into painting and music, history and philosophy, society and culture. Prof. da Silva has contributed to the cultural life of the college having directed plays and conducted the College Choir in winter performances of Christmas and classical music.
